Urstig is a word we created.
Ur means origin or primal force. Stig is a path through the forest.
To follow your urstig is to find your way back to what drives you, where you come from and the path that is truly yours.
The strongest stories are rarely found on the surface. They live in the land, the weather, the work, the history and the small details.
Urstig Studio was founded by photographer and writer Louise F. Garbergs in the Swedish mountains.
