Urstig Studio is the photographic archive of Swedish photographer and journalist Louise F. Garbergs. Every photograph available through the Studio is my own work.
The subjects, places and seasons may change, but the photographs share a way of seeing. This makes it possible to build a coherent visual world across a website, publication, campaign or longer body of work.

Existing photographs cannot always show what is specific to your people, your place or your work.
When the images you need do not already exist in the archive, I create original photography that helps your audience understand, feel and remember what matters about your story.
BEHIND THE ARCHIVE
My name is Louise F. Garbergs. I’m a photographer and journalist, and I started Urstig in the Swedish mountains.
I’ve always been drawn to nature, animals, places with history and people who care deeply about what they do. I use photography to show the world not only as I see it, but as I feel it.
Over the years, that work has grown into the archive behind Urstig Studio. Every photograph here is mine.
